Riverside Middle School is very excited to offer our students ebooks from MackinVIA. Our students now have access to hundreds of ebooks that they can access online. In the Database tab, we have added the subscription to Teen Book Cloud.
To log in to the site, use:
             User name: riversidemid
             Password: riversidemid
             (leave school blank)
Then they can log in to their account with the YISD username and password.

Audible has free audio books to listen to. You can instantly stream titles in eight different languages.

Lerner Digital Interactive Books offers ebooks to read online.

Open eBooks is a an application that provides a mobile digital library with thousands of popular and award-winning books free. Follow these four easy steps to get Open eBooks on any mobile device - including tablets, iPads, and on smartphones of all types. 
Step 1: On an iPhone or Android phone, open the app store and type in “open ebooks”
​Step 2: Click GET then click INSTALL to download the app.
Step 3: Open the app and click Log in with Clever.
Step 4: Search for the student’s school district to log in with their username and password.

Sora has over 400 popular ebooks to read online.

Lit2Go is a fantastic free site for stories and poems read by real people (not computer voices) in MP3 (audio book) format. Sorted by genre, readability, author, title, and collections, you can find dozens of books and poems in this free collection. You can either read the text and listen to the audio books online or download them to iTunes and you can listen to them immediately. Each reading passage can also be downloaded as a PDF.

The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) is providing the TexQuest Databases FREE to all YISD students and teachers. To log in use:

The El Paso Public Library provides many free resources such as Tumble books, ebooks, online magazines, etc. To access some of these the students need is a library card and a pin.

The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) is providing Learn 360 with the TexQuest Databases FREE to all YISD students and teachers. You can now search over 160,000 multimedia resources. To log in use:
